Design Lead in IAM Workstream

Current responsibility

After VMware was acquired by Broadcom in 2023, I oversee the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team in the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) division. I specialize in enhancing B2B experiences for our enterprise clients through SaaS and Cloud experiences.

A recent achievement is the launch of the end-to-end Single Sign-On experience for 7 VMware enterprise products in VCF 9.0. After the acquisition, the ultimate goal of our business is to consolidated all VMware products into one single experience. I led the whole design process from "0 to 1" for the brand new Single Sign-On experience, collaborating with 3 Product Managers and 70+ cross-functional partners. I also directly present to 2 executive leaders to align on the product strategy to create the best experience for our customers.

Cross-Function Leadership

In addition to crafting design proposals, my role as the design lead in the IAM-Console domain involves collaborating with Product Managers to establish quarterly priorities for the team, aligning with our team OKRs, and overarching business goals. I take charge of task assignments for team members and provide mentorship to ensure their alignment with the objectives of the cross-functional team. I actively foster communication and collaboration with other teams, further enhancing our collective efforts toward achieving shared objectives.
